Skeleton is an edit project based on audio material created in 1996 by Franz Pomassl. The Austrian experimental label Sabotage Recordings released the first two Skeleton records in 1996 and 1997, both records had identical audio material but different track titles. Pomassl released two versions of Skeleton on his own label Laton (in 2001 and 2006) and is now collaborating with Sex Tags Mania on a new Skeleton release. On the new Skeleton release there are five new edits and re-recordings by Pomassl and also two remixes by Perrtu Eino Häkkinen and S.Mitterer. Skeleton will be released on 12" vinyl by Sex Tags Mania the 28th of September 2007 (international release 9. October trough Intergroove) during Curating Degree Zero, hosted by Rakett in Bergen, Norway.

Vienna based sound artist Franz Pomassl works with the perception of sound, both conceptual and physically, with his projects that range from infrasonic sound installations, conceptual minimal techno releases and development of electro-acoustic machines and devices. Pomassl is engaged in the deconstruction and expansion of familiar ways of hearing with his installations that often are experienced aural, he explores where the acoustic reception lies, based on infra and ultrasound. This way of deconstruction can also be linked structurally to his work with music, where he continuously releases the same audio material, re-edited, re-recorded and re-structured, changing titles and ways of execution. Pomassl's work has been shown in several exhibition projects on the contemporary art scene such as Manifesta 2, Freq_out and Avanto Helsinki Media Art Festival.

Together with Anna Ceeh, Pomassl also runs Laton, a record label for exprimental electronic music and sound art. With Laton the focus is also on creating an extended network with former Soviet countries by arranging and presenting events, festivals and record releases. Laton has released records, initiated projects and arranged events with artists and musicians like Carl Michael von Hausswolf, Mika Vainio, Petteri Nisunen & Tommi Grönlund, Andres Lõo and Russian psychotherapist Benzo.
Pomassls own audio productions are featured on labels like Millie Plateaux, Sähkö Recordings, Raster-Noton, Craft and Sabotage aswell as on his own label Laton, and and now upcoming new release on Sex Tags Mania.

Sex Tags Mania, a record label run by Peter Anatol Mitterer and Stefan Mitterer. The base of the label has a focus on house and techno music, and the releases are in a very limited scale of 12” vinyl records. All releases consists of invited artists and music producers, collaborative releases and side-projects. For each record release an external person is invited to write a text, this text is used as (and instead of) the release information that all new releases are presented with. The invited writer is free to write abouth what he or she wants, these texts are distributed by Intergroove together with the records to magazines, record shops, dj’s, radio stations and other medias covering electronic music. Sex Tags Mania has released records and paralell text projects in collaboration with Bjørn Torske, Jori Hulkkonen, Acid Kings, Crystal Bois, Skatebård, Andres Lõo & André Teodósio, Bjørn-Kowalski Hansen, Andrew Cannon, Erlend Hammer, Diego Fernandez and Franz Pomassl.
